Aquile di Palermo

The A.S. Culturale-Pro H "Aquile di Palermo-ONLUS" promotes  Wheelchair
Hockey, a sport created for disabled youth with limited motor ability. Funds of
this project  go to buy  vans to transport  team members to regional and
national games.

Second Chance

Together with the Centro Cinofilo il Mandarino and local vets, this project
adopts shelter dogs and trains them for pet-therapy in hospitals, hospices,
schools and juvenile prisons. Funds collected go to the 12 month training of

Music Therapy

This project supports a music therapy program conducted by U.S. certified music therapists
for the autistic,  Alzheimer and Down Syndrome patients of the Oasi Foundation research

The Associazione La Solidarietà has over 200
volunteers who work in hospitals and clinics in
an under-developed area of Sicily.
This project supports at-risk youth oriented programs.

Library in Little Italy, Baltimore

The Rev. Oreste Pandola Adult Center is an example of what grass-roots
volunteerism can do. It is the primary center for Italian culture and language
classes in the Baltimore area for both children and adults.  This project
collects funds for children's activities at the Thomas Lima Library in the
school.

Youth Opera/Symphony

Since 1986 the Accademia Musicale Siciliana has given young musicians the
opportunity to study while participating in concerts at prestigious venues such as
Carnegie Hall in  New York. This project is collecting funds to support  free opera
concerts to disadvantaged populations and students alike.
